Michael Gianetti's Bio
Michael Gianetti, owns and operates LIFE CYCLE BALLOON ADVENTURES, LTD. located in Boulder, Colorado. Michael's
interest in hot air ballooning started over 25 years ago when he saw his first balloon and decided this was something
he wanted to know more about. That’s when he started crewing for Life Cycle Balloon Adventures, Ltd.
Michael bought his first balloon in 1991 and earned his private pilot's certificate in February 1992. Michael then
earned his commercial certificate in February 1993 and became chief pilot for Life Cycle Balloon Adventures a year later.
In 1998, Michael took over operations of Life Cycle Balloon Adventures, Ltd and became an authorized dealer for FireFly
Balloons selling new and used balloon systems. In 2002, Life Cycle Balloon Repair was certified by the FAA and now offers
balloon inspection and repair.
Michael is a member of the Balloon Federation of America, The Colorado Balloon Club, and The Cheyenne Hot Air Balloon Club.
Michael is a hot air balloon pilot instructor and has over 2000 hours piloting hot air balloons.
Michael has flown in numerous locations around Colorado, Arizona, and Wyoming. Regularly attends the Albuquerque Balloon
Fiesta in New Mexico and has competed in the National Hot Air Balloon Championships in Columbia, MO. Michael also attended
the International balloon competitions in Saga, Japan as an event official, and has flown The Fiesta del Globos in Leon,
Mexico.
Michael’s wife, Lisa, is his crew chief and flight-relations coordinator. Both Michael and Lisa look forward to flying
with you in our wonderful Boulder location or in South Park, a beautiful mountain valley location in south central Colorado.
